Violet Marie Higdon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2022, at the age of 73, Violet Marie Higdon of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Mattingly. She is survived by: her children, Heather Taylor (Brian), Scott Higdon (Margi) and Jeremy Higdon (Heather); her grandchildren, Melaina Howard (Matt), Arabeth Emery (Nathan), Crystal Nyhus (Burton), Brittany Ellis-Higdon, C. J. Higdon, Jackson Higdon and Logan Higdon; her siblings, Joe Mattingly (Vicki), Linda Sweat (Ron), Lori Hall (Tim), Bob Perry (Patricia), Brenda Perry and John Perry; her niece Mckenzie Mattingly; and her nephew Ron Sweat Jr. (Pam Long). She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude or the National Kidney Foundation.
