He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Frashure and Nola Gilmore Frashure; his former wife Emma Frances Smith Frashure; and his siblings, Viola Arnold, Mary Frances Kassinger, Homer, Monroe (Jack) and Elbert Frashure.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Frashure; his children, Frankie Lee Frashure, Billy Wayne Frashure, Faye Varble, Debra Ann Shaver and Margaret Ann Bishop; his stepchildren, Mona Bowley and Mack Utley; and his siblings, Wanda Wells and Ray Frashure. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
