He was predeceased by: his father Robert Riney; his wife Marian Patricia "Pat" Riney; his siblings, James Henry Riney, Toie White, Rosita Warren, Bernice Bertke, Imogene Murphy, Robert Riney, Marilyn Kurz and Louise Clark; and his granddaughters, Ashley and Ally Holder.
He is survived by: his children, Phil Riney (Lane), Bill Riney (Dottie) and Kathy Holder (David); and his grandchildren, Luke Riney, Tony Riney (Amanda), Maggie Miller (Sterling), Alex Holder and Anna Grace Holder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
