She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nathan and Mildred Harris Nix; her husband Marshall L. Ham; and her siblings, Beverly, Billie Faye, Joann, Johnny and Ben.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Falloway (Delbert), Katherine S. Schroader, Johnny Davis Embry (Betty Jean) and Steven L. Ham; and her brother Jimmy Nix (Judy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

“I want to extend my sympathy to Sue's family and friends. I was her pet sitter for many years in Oklahoma City. I have just found out of her passing and even though I haven't seen her in years, we kept a connection and I will miss her. She was a lovely lady. I have left a "lighted candle" for a month in honor of her and her love of her two cats Dasher and Dottie.”

“Tonight I am so sorry to learn of Sue's passing . I was her pet sitter for many years when she and Bud lived in Oklahoma City. I missed contacting her this past Christmas and I do wish I had. She was a lovely lady and she loved her cats so much. I want to extend my sympathy to the family and her friends. I'm 83 years old and we maintained a friendly connection after she moved to Kentucky. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It was a joy knowing Sue all these years.”
