He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Richardson, Sr. and Nora Joyce Wiggins Richardson; and his siblings, Walter Richardson, Jr., Charles Richardson, James Richardson, John Richardson and Josephine Richardson.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Goetz (Marvin) of Owensboro, Sally Grigsby Richardson of Las Vegas and Joyce Webber (John) of Douglas, MA; and his sister-in-law Sue Richardson of Hopkinsville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
