He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Cain and Mavis Isbill Cain. He is survived by: his close friend Darlena Mattingly; his daughter Laura Thompson (Danny, Jr.) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Michaela, Hannah Jo and Elizabeth; and his sister Diana Ellis (Keith).
