She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Pitman and Lula Mae Wathen Yancey. She is survived by: her children, John Whistle (Karen), Brenda Hall (John), Delores Franzos, Jackie Ross (Mike), Jason Whistle, Pamela Shelton and Tamela Shepherd. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
