She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Wilson; her siblings, Harold Wilson, Norma Wilson, Paula Keithly and Wanda Gibbs; and her brother-in-law Gary Helm.
She is survived by: her husband Mikel R. Evans Sr.; her children, Twana Evans-Roberts, Sharron A. Evans-Bale and Mikel R. Evans, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Ashley Jones Johnson; her siblings, Carolyn Helm, Cathy Banks, Debbie Keller and Gladdis Payne; and her parents-in-law, Ruth Wilson, Darrell Evans and Becky Evans. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Charitable donations, in honor of Mrs. Evans, may be made payable to Woodlawn Methodist Church, 1120 Woodlawn Avenue, Owensboro, Kentucky 42301.
