It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherlene Mattingly Harrison of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sherman Mattingly and Mary Elizabeth Evans Mattingly; and her husband Carl Louis Harrison (Buddy). She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Harrison Doering; her son-in-law John (Jack); her granddaughters, Julie Prefontaine (Korey) of Dunwoody, GA and Jennifer Kelly of Johnston, SC; her great grandchildren, Grace Kelly, Hannah Kelly and Jack Prefontaine; her brother Charles E. Mattingly (Buzz); her nephew McKay Mattingly; and her nieces, Chara Hutzell, Madison Schumacher (Missy) and Amelia Sweetall (Ame).
