He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Bennett and Jacqueline Bennett; his brother Tommy Bennett; and also Rudy "Sonnie" Midkiff. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Spalding Bennett; his sons, Kenneth Bennett (Mackenzie), Patrick Bennett (Brittany) and Cody Bennett (Cristy); and his siblings, Jackie "Louie" Cornelius, Lottie Hamilton, Carrie Bennett Turner and Timmy Bennett. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
