He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Thruston and Tonya Thruston; his grandfather Charles Brown Sr.; his brother Marvin Thruston; his children, Joseph S. Thruston, Aysa S. Thruston, Samuel E. Thruston II and Samijah E. Thruston; his aunts and uncles, Donald Brown, Charles Brown Jr. (Tonia), Beatrice Moore (Efrim Sr.), Christopher Brown I (April), Jacquelyn Cox (late Anthony), Deanna Lewis (Anthony) and Jerome Thruston (Linda); and his nephew Gabriel Thruston.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Up Church (1836 W 5th St, Owensboro, KY 42301).
