We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2020, at the age of 82, Sam Martin (Owensboro, Kentucky) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sam Martin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his significant other Linda Sue Carman Martin; his parents, Link Martin and Lottie Weatherholt Patton; and his brothers, Dan Martin and William F. Martin.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecca D. Martin (Mary Mulligan) of Owensboro, Twylyn Jane Martin of Owensboro and Jeffrey T. Martin (Tammy) of Hanover, Pennsylvania; his grandsons, Ethan S. Martin (Kelsey), Jacob B. Martin of Pennsylvania, Sam, Kaydence J. Miller and Lauren Miller; and his sisters, Glenda Blakeman and Lila Jo Smithson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of gifts, the family would appreciate donations to Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center, 1020 Breckenridge Street, Owensboro, KY 42303 or Heartford House, Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
