He is survived by: his parents, Robert Murphy and Jackie Murphy; his wife Laurel Beaty Murphy; his children, Cameron Murphy (Kayla), Carson Murphy and Cortland Murphy; his grandchildren, Karter, Kendrick and Koda; and his brothers, Richard and Robert Murphy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
