She is survived by: her children, Sonja Hicks Burcham (Kim) and Roger Hicks (Don Donahue) of Fort Lauderdale; and her grandchildren, Nick McCosh, Ginny Layman (Paul) and Melissa Kamuf (Ben). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; two sisters.
