She was predeceased by: her parents, Erle Mulligan and Corin Riney Mulligan; her husband Ira Hardy; her siblings, Harold, John M., William J. "Billy" Mulligan, Suzetta Ebelhar, Marion Mattingly, Geraldine Simmons, Frances Boswell O'Bryan and Mildred Timbrook; and her son-in-law Mike Collignon.

She is survived by: her children, Donna DeMar (Richard) of Henderson, Sharon Dukes (Dave) of Columbia, Dr. Judith McGuinn (Michael) of Owensboro, Sandra Self (Allen) of Owensboro, Scott Hardy (Tina) of Owensboro, Mary Lou Jones (Mike) of Owensboro and Barry Hardy (Cathy) of Owensboro; and her sisters, Martha Jean Kauffeld (Jim) and Mary Jane Alexander.
