He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bruner and Cleta Bruner (Laymon) of Folsomville, IN.. He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his daughters, Ashley Bailey (Brian) and Whitley Southard (Paul) of Henderson, KY; his stepdaughters, Hillary Wolfe (Wes) of Waverly, KY and Ashley R. Ford of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Kate Bailey, Gunner, Layla, Sophia Southard, Sydney, Garrison Thomas, Alyx Wolfe and Gabrielle O'Neil; and his siblings, Randy (Linda), Ronald (Greta), Raleigh (Alyssa), Richard (Kela), Rodney Bruner, Marcia Neff, Brenda Ransom (Albert) and Becky Busing (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Smokin for Garrett Scholarship Fund.
