Ruby Taylor McFarland Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Taylor McFarland (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Ruby (Sis); her son Richard L. McFarland, Jr.; her grandson Daniel Edward McFarland; her great grandchild Austin James McFarland; and her friend David Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie Rueben Sr., Dwight Taylor, Nestra Marie, Alison (Betty), Patricia (Mark), Susan (Diane) and Roger Scott Sr.; her daughter-in-law Patricia V. McFarland; and her daughters, Pamela Smith-Wright and Tanya Carter. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rev. R. L. McFarland memorial fund managed by Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
