It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Lee Goodwin in Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Calhoun, Kentucky, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Remus Goodwin and Birdie Goodwin; her children, Stacy Goodwin Fountain and William Dexter Goodwin; and her sister Tobitha Faye Chatmon.

She is survived by: her friend Foster; her daughter Donna Goodwin of Owensboro; her brothers, Donald Goodwin (Loretta) and Jerry Goodwin, Sr. (Jorene) of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Jonathan Goodwin (Cadie) of Owensboro, Jacob Goodwin of Owensboro, Wileasia Goodwin of Owensboro, Dexteria Goodwin of Owensboro, Yasmeen Goodwin of Owensboro, Dextra Goodwin of Owensboro, Major Goodwin of Owensboro, Jasmine Roby (Mathew) of Owensboro and Tyra Goodwin of Owensboro; and her great grandchildren, Alaya Goodwin, Jaxon Goodwin, Makhai Goodwin, Shanelle McGuire, Karter Roby and Nyah of Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
