He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Day and Hazel Day; and his brother Charles Denzel Day. He is survived by: his wife Billie Day; his daughters, Denise Spencer of Oneida and Tracy Day of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Adam Kirtley, Corey Baughn (Jeremy), Noel Cordel (Ryan) and Clay Spencer; and his brother Carlton Day (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
