It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger E. Fuqua of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Augustus Lee Fuqua; and his siblings, Randy Fuqua, David Fuqua, Charles Fuqua, Elsie Mattingly and Bonnie Fuqua.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Fuqua; his children, Dylan Mattingly (Anna), Jason Fuqua (Bri), Roger Fuqua Jr. (Teeonna), Josh Meyer, Melissa Allgood (Herbert), Kelsey Fuqua (Ty), Kelly Pierce (Chek), April Bivens (Tom) and Maggie Fuqua (Sean); his grandchildren, Tyler, Devon, Christopher, Jase, Amber, Peyton, Kara, Mia, Belle, Cassius, Beth, Jayden, Alison and Princess; his great grandchildren, Jordan and Gracie; his siblings, Betty Bryan (Ron), Thomas Fuqua (Lucille) and Ricky Fuqua (Crystal); his mother-in-law Ann Sloan; and his close friends, Connie Fuqua, Robert Bowlin and Gary Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
