He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Anderson and Garneda Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Roberts Anderson; his children, Roger Anderson, Jr. of Los Angeles, Elizabeth Anderson of Owensboro, Julie Anderson (Blaine) of Frankfort and Sarah Katherine Skinner (Hal) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Brooke Parker (Jeron), Treyson Luke Anderson (Brittany), Joseph Taylor Richard (Lani), Drew Katherine Knight, Madeline Wood Hauser, Zachary Glenn Waldrop and Frankie Anderson Knight; and his great grandchildren, Gracy Beth, Lily Kate, Maddy Brooke Parker, Brayden, Triston and Madison Anderson.
