With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Smith of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Martinsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Smith; and his brother Randy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis York Smith; his children, Mike Smith (Gina), Jeremy Smith (Stephanie), Sabrina Smith and Jennifer Hurm (Darrell); his grandchildren, McKenzie (Chase), Tyler, Kaylin, Carye, Gavin and Emma; and his siblings, Tim Smith (Linda), Sandy and Teresa.
