He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Milton and Myrtle Louise Lawson Redd; and his siblings, Rachel Marshall, Melvin David and Fredrick.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Holt Redd; his children, Jillian Slaton (Josey) of Princeton, Jordan Redd (Trista) of Hopkinsville and Jeffrey Redd of Russellville; his siblings, Annie Hardin of Russellville, Tommy Redd of Wallonia, Joe Redd and Tandy Redd of Princeton; and his grandchildren, Ava Slaton, Levi Slaton, Chase Markham and Alaina Markham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
