He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Elizabeth and John Gerald Wethington; his brother Larry; and his son Blake. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Tom); his grandsons, Robert Jr. "Robbie" and John; his wife Kaye Blakeney; his children, Robbie (Judy) and John (DeeDee); his grandchildren, Lauren of Texas, Lindsay of Texas, Kristen of Texas, Robyn of Texas, Lisa of Texas, Jill of Texas, Kaley of Kentucky, Jordan of Kentucky, Blake of Kentucky, Brooke of Kentucky and Maggie of Kentucky; and his sister Phyllis Riley of Alabama. He is also survived by thirty-three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Carmel Home.
