He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Gehlhausen and Goldie Gehlhausen; and his siblings, Doris Butler and Ronald Gehlhausen. He is survived by: his close friend Janet Payton; his children, Angela Dartt (Jon), Melinda Murphy (Phillip) and Jonathan Gehlhausen (Tonya); his grandchildren, Melissa Murphy, Evan Dartt, Emily Dartt and Matilda Gehlhausen; and his sister Mary Jo Holst.
