He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy King and Gertie Bell King; his daughter Cheryl Lynn King; and his brothers, Jim and Billy King.

He is survived by: his children, William Mark King (Peggy), Darlene Farrington (Steve), Charlene King and Connie Ball (Larry); and his brother Jack King (Rose). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great- grandchildren.
