He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Young and Birdie Hagan Young; and his sister Janet. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tipmore Young; his children, Keith Young (Alison), Rob Young (Kathy), Donna Cooper (Coleman) and Marty Joe Young (Sue); his grandchildren, Misty Lowe, Lowe, Travis Young (Camron), Tyler Young (Shelly), Shane Marks, Shawn Marks, Chad Young, Brittany Brown (Austin), Bailey Cummins (Andrew), Brandi Hoover (Aaron), Morgan Oliver, Steven Oliver, Stephen Locher (Felicia), Katlin Rafferty (Aaron) and Austin Gall; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Nash, Jaxon, Gracie, Makaila, Jordyn, Janson, Addison, Brayden, Ryan and Carsyn; and his brothers, Billy Young (Maxine), Jimmy Young (Ruth) and Donnie Young (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family request that donations be made in Bobby's name to Norton Brownsboro Hospital and KY Motorsports Hall of Fame.
