He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Anderson, Sr. and Bertha Holland Anderson; his siblings, David Anderson, Joyce Mohler and Candy Anderson; his great grandchild Harper Vickers; and his grandmother Mellissia Beverly Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Anderson; his siblings, Patricia Weaver, Gayle Albury, Lois Williams (Jerry), John Anderson (Jo), Erie Anderson and Barry Hagan; his children, Tim Anderson, Melanie Phelps (Shawn) and Melissa Padgett (Everett); his grandchildren, Noah Anderson, Elijah Anderson (Brionna), Kelsey Walker (Hunter), Brooklyn Phelps (Austin), Madilyn Phelps, Emma Phelps (Brayden), Brent Worthington, Brody Worthington, Kamryn Combs and Anna Skaggs of Owensboro; and his great grandchildren, Ezra, Paisley, Warner, Breann, Hendrix and Hadley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
