We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Robert D. Evans of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Fordsville, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Jack" Evans; his wife Wilma Lee Wilkerson; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dean" Van Gundy, Carroll Evans and James "Big Boy" Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Lynn Stroud (Gene Stroud) of Owensboro, Kentucky, Kevin Lee Evans (Joy Evans) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Dr. Robert D. Evans, Jr. (Leiza Nochebuena-Evans) of Murray, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Robert Stroud, Charles Stroud, Christopher Stroud, Taylor Burns, Delaney Evans and John Evans. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Dale asked that anyone wishing to pay their respects to him, and his life are directed to donate to the American Heart Association or to the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
