He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lindow and Ada Lindow; his former wife Jean Lindow; his son Jim Lindow; his grandchildren, Madelyn Rae VonGunten and Samuel James Hughes; and his brother Danny Lindow.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Lindow; his children, David Lindow (Cathy), Robin Abel (Joseph) and Tony Lindow (Jane); his stepchildren, Jennifer Wilson (Jim), John Musgrave (Robyn), Jeff Musgrave (Tina) and Joel Musgrave (Cathy); his grandchildren, Courtney VonGunten, Natalie Anderson, Christina Kim (Brian), Matt Abel, Lindsey Hughes (Kris), Derrick Lindow (Allie) and Rachel Flaspoehler (Brady); and his stepgrandchildren, Adam Wilson, Matt Wilson (Amanda), Andrew Musgrave (Ana), Elizabeth Zummach (Daniel), Jacob Musgrave, Kimberly Barach (Brandon), Phillip Musgrave and Jenna Pike (Dixon). He is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren; and his 11 step-great grandchildren.
