He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Norris; his wife Carol Ann Norris; and his siblings, Robert W. Norris, George Earl Norris, Wilbur "Buzz" Norris and Ruth Norris Riley.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Val Norris and Fred Dana Norris. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
