He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Elder and Mary Ernestine Elder; his wife Bonnie Nall Elder; and his siblings, Joe, Ed, Pearl, Earl, Ernestine, Henrietta, John, Walter and Clarence.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Elder of Owensboro and Sherrie Anderson (Mike); his grandsons, Justin Anderson (Kristin) and Ryan Anderson (Elisa); and his great grandchild Evelyn.
