He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Elmo and Lillian Grayson Shelton; his wife Joyce Decker Shelton; and his children, Tony Shelton and Darla Shelton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Clark of Owensboro and Tonya Hohimer (Jamie) of Beaver Dam; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Hayes (Edward), Brittany Ross (Erik) and Tiffany Bratcher (Josh). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N Lafayette St, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Echols Cemetery.
