She is survived by: her son Christian Altman (Enrique) of Chicago; her mother Judy Settle; her brothers, David Settle (Shelley) and Mitch Settle (Kim) of Owensboro; her stepsons, Hal Helmers (Jennifer) of Louisville, David Helmers (Anne) and Lee Helmers (Kelly) of Lexington; her nieces, Sarah Hagan (Danny), Julie Moore (Mark), Emmy Hamilton Sydney Settle (Gary) and Shelby Payne (Aaron); her pet Lucky; and her close friends, Marsha Nash and Walter Lee.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Dream Riders of Kentucky, Girls Inc., or The Robert Austin Meythaler Scholarship Fund c/o Settle Memorial United Methodist Church.
