It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Lee Nantz Sr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lee and Emily Drace Nantz; his son John Wesley Nantz; and his brother Dalton "Nanner" Nantz. He is survived by: his close friend Anna Simpson of Owensboro; his sons, Raymond Lee Nantz, Jr. (Susie) of Darnestown and Wendell Glenn Nantz of Lavergne, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Andrea Nantz, John Nantz, Jr. (Lacey), Alyssa Michael (Jon), Ali Hagen (Scott) and Kassie Nantz (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Beau, Memphis Joe Nantz and Matt Allen of Centertown; his siblings, Wendell Nantz (Jane) of Calhoun, Catherine Hoover of Hartford and Sue Hatfield of Calhoun; his sister-in-law Chris Nantz of Owensboro; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Nantz of Philpot.
