He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kays I and Adrian Chamberlain; his siblings, Ed Chamberlain, Oscar Chamberlain, Fred Chamberlain, Hazel Bolen, Beulah Chamberlain, Betty Davis and Mary Chamberlain; and his brother-in-law Zane Bono.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kays; his children, Lori Kays (Brian Aldrich) and Ralph Kays III (Jamie); his grandchildren, Kaylee, Timmy of Adrian, Chloe, Madden, Medley, Lucas and Cash; his great grandchild Nolan; and his siblings, Ray Chamberlain (Rosemary) and Judy Bono. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
