He was predeceased by: his brother R. D. Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Cooper Hodges; his children, Philip W. Hodges Jr. and Kim Deatherage (Les); his grandchildren, Natalie Miller (Steven) of Owensboro, Corie Soto (Jonathan) of Owensboro, Wade Hodges (Karisa) of Owensboro, Danielle Deatherage of Owensboro and Matthew Deatherage of Owensboro; his siblings, Jean Davis (Jim) of Spanish Fort, Ala, Gary Hodges (JoAnn) of Birmingham, Ala and Don Hodges (Pat) of Freeport, Florida; and his sister-in-law Barbara Hodges of Pasadena, Texas..
