She was predeceased by: her husband James Nelson Allen; and her brothers, Donald Shemwell, Bobby Shemwell and Paul Shemwell. She is survived by: her children, Jim Bob Allen (Kim) of Owensboro, Duane Allen of Owensboro, Daryl Allen (Trisha) of Owensboro, Alvin Wells (Kim) of Union County, KY, Wes Shemwell (Kelly) of Michigan and Mark Allen (Jennifer) of Clarksville, TN; and her sister Sherry Howard.
