She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Blanton Hooks and Velma Lambert Hooks; her husband Max Douglas, Sr.; her son Gaylon Gene Douglas; her brother William Gerald Hooks; and her grandson John Walker Douglas.
She is survived by: her sons, Max Taylor Douglas Jr. (Peggy), Blanton Gerald "Jerry" Douglas (Angela) and Mark Steven Douglas (LaDonna); and her grandchildren, Catherine J. Felts (Ken), Aaron Douglas (Amy), Sarah Vance (Kevin), Josiah Douglas (Marcy), Andrew Douglas, Samuel Douglas (Desiree), Noah B. Douglas, Krysten Douglas (Cory Noel), Taylor Douglas and Garrett Douglas (Allison). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
