It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Kanies of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lucille Marie Ripberger (Snider); her husband Jerry Kanies; her son Michael "Mike" Kanies; her grandson Travis Kanies; her father Frank Ripberger; her foster parents, Anthony "Tony" Hanloh and Margaret Hanloh; and her siblings, John Ripberger, Paul Ripberger and Martha Jean Ripberger.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Kanies of Yuma, Bobby Kanies (Simone) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Vicky VanLue (Brad) of Excelsior Springs and Nancy Laning (Clifford) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
