She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Rouse and Alma Tucker Rouse; and her daughter Bonnie. She is survived by: her former husband George Leonard Grubbs; her husband Edward Smith; her children, Delores Piper of Owensboro, Anna Grubbs Hardison of Owensboro, Leonard Grubbs (Ruth Ann) of Drakesboro, Darrel Grubbs (Kathy) of Crown Point, IN, Glenn Grubbs of Benton, Gerald Grubbs (Kathy) of Murray, Paul Grubbs of Greenville, Darlene Walters of Madisonville and Robbin Steward of Owensboro; and her siblings, Lewis Rouse and Patricia Needs. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith suffered with Parkinson's Disease and was a COVID survivor.
Her favorite charities were American Cancer Society, Oneida Institute, and Hospice of Western Kentucky.
