It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Herron of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Morgan Miller and Eddie Canady Miller; her husband Robert Herron; her son Randall Ashby; and her grandsons, Kristopher Ashby and Benjamin Ashby.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Ashby (Mindy) of Jacksonville, Fla., Kevin Ashby (Shannon) of Westview, KY., Terri Ashby of Owensboro, Memori Herron Reynolds of Bowling Green and Jeffrey Herron (Becky) of Beaver Dam. She is also survived by several Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
