She was predeceased by: her father Grant G. Sr. Talbott; her husband Harold A. Rowan; her siblings, Grant, Jr., William (Big Boy), John, Ethel, Mae, Gloria, Maxine and Creasie; and her great grandchild Nevaeh Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie LaVerne Morton of Lexington, Olga Marilyn McKissic of Owensboro, Stephanie Renee Wimsatt (Wayne) of Greencastle, Ind., Verne Augustus Rowan (Cathy) of Louisville, Jeanette Cristi Rowan Jones (Marc) of Bowling Green, John Edward Rowan (Rico) of St. Augustine and Pamela Smith-Wright of Owensboro; her sister Sallene Lockett of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Lawrence Winstead Jr., Courtney Winstead, Anthony Floyd, Leslie Catlett (Josh), Angela Floyd, Harrison Morton, Erin Rowan and Alexander McKissic (Avery); her great grandchildren, Terryn, Devon, Thomas, Josephine, Nolan, Austin, Leilani, Adonis, Nehamiah and Shiloh; and her great great grandchildren, Josiah, Elijah and Dioni. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
