He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Haywood; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Preston; his siblings, Stephen Ray, Sandy Brown and Elizabeth Clark; and his stepmother Margaret Ray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Annah Kathy Parsotan, Rebecca Hamilton (Richard) and Amy Bullington (Billy); and his siblings, Michael Ray (Donna), Judy Hillard and Darlene Johnson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
