She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Harris and Jo Elizabeth Harris; her husband David Adams; her granddaughter Jada M. Adams-Moorman; and her sister Helen Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, David Adams (Sonya), W. Michael Adams, Shirley Adams (Greg Moorman) and Jeanette Walker (Ricky); and her siblings, John Harris (Brenda), William "Bill" Harris, Lou Williams and Martine Farmer (Ron). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
