He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl M. Adams and Vauda Penix Adams; and his children, David Lee Adams and Linda Irene Kinison. He is survived by: his wife Hettie Adams; his children, Roger Dale Adams, Sr., Vicky Burks (Eddie) and Smoody Adams (Tricia); and his brother Phillip Roger Adams (Mary Ann). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
