He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sue Griffith; his stepmother Maxine Griffith; his children, Denise Griffith, Monroe Griffith III (Janice), Marvin Daniel Griffith (Zenia), Clarence Outlaw (Bridgett) and Marshall Griffith (Cherry); his siblings, William "Med" Griffith (Maxine), Michael Griffith (Andrea), Darrell Griffith, Cheryl Williams (James), Anita Griffith and Byron Griffith; his siblings-in-law, Larry Owen, Byron Owen, Brenda Riley, Betty Payton and Patricia Curry; his close friend Clarence "Gleason" Hanley; his friends, Monica Starks, Frank Posey, Robert Smith, Delbert Hatchett, Gene, Pam Smith-Wright and Merdis Jones; and his grandchildren, Donese Whitlock, Chelsey Aigbe (Kevin), Cortney Thomas (Mike), Marques Griffith (Jackie), Danielle Griffith, Kristen Griffith, T'Naya Griffith, Nicole Griffith, Marshall C Griffith, Brian Griffith and Brianna Griffith. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
