With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Menchise of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in New York, New York, who passed away on June 6, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Sr. Menchise and Alice Roy Menchise; and his sister-in-law Denise Bartlett. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hayden Menchise; his stepdaughter Kristen Reed; his grandson Tate; and his parents-in-law, Deborah Sheperis (Cary), Jimmy Hayden (Kim), Phil Hayden (Cheri), Vickie Sipes (Dean), Keith Hayden (Missi), Ron Hayden (Kim) and Ed Bartlett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I did just sadly find out that Michael is no longer with us and although we were estranged, I wished he would have reached out to me to fix the past wounds, because now he and I will never have that opportunity. I am happy to say that when I reached out to his very lovely wife Cathy that she is as nice a person as I hoped she would be. I look forward to meeting with her and hopefully all of her family soon and that we can share memories with each other. I love you Michael.”
