He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Blandford (Goetz) and Joseph F. Green; and his brothers, Jeffrey Paul and Mark Edward Green. He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Green (Justice Sparks); his stepson Zac Brown (Kathryn); his granddaughter Riley Ann Sparks; his siblings, Stephen Joseph Green (Marianne), Mary Beth Edge (Bobby), David Allen Green (Angie), Chris Green (Carrie) and Jennifer Nicole Cox (Jason); and his friend Carol Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Riley Ann Sparks College Fund.
