He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Childs and Iva Elizabeth Childs; his wife Diane Childs; and his daughter Robin Childs. He is survived by: his children, Michael "Mike" Childs and Kristy Vick (Brandon); his grandchildren, Kayleigh Rybolt, Chloe Hankins and Johnathon Chaney; his great grandchild Ana Bayleigh Nichols; his siblings, David Childs and Charlotte Davis (Marshall); and his aunt Elsie Todd.
